Out of the darkness she danced.
She danced like she was alone.
Even in darkness she soared gracefully.
The tunnel could not hold her.
Alyssa danced toward the tunnel’s light.
She will bloom even in darkness
green water fairy practicing her ballet
My mother won’t let me practice at home.
But we never knew her name.
She danced comfortablely in the dark.
