Throat parched, his tongue like sand.
Death is a doorway to life.
She preferred to be pleasantly plump.
It was the worst drought ever.
They dwell together in arid desolation.
Dry, desolate, bare….bodies without care.
There used to be leaves here.
The buzzards would not eat today
